Green Lane Primary School have received a full year's worth of Brazilian Soccer School coaching as part of a sponsorship deal between Garforth Town and a firm of chartered accountants.
Jonathan S White & Company are hoping to inspire a new generation of Samba stars through their sponsorship of Simon Clifford's Brazilian Soccer Schools.
The deal also sees the firm renew their sponsorship with Garforth Town, which will see their company name emblazoned onto the back of The Miner's shirts.
Jason Wheelwright, PE Co-ordinator at Green Lane Primary School, told Garforth Today: "It's brilliant news as it will give an opportunity to children who wouldn't have normally had it. Hopefully it will help the children to progress and hone their skills." Jonathan S White & Company became the Official Accountancy Partners of The Miners last year and since then has helped to increase their brand awareness while assisting with the club's finances. During such economically-challenging times, many companies are finding great benefits from employing high-quality accountants to guide them through the ever-changing legislation. Company partner Craig Bannister is also a resident of Garforth who has followed his local club with his wife and young son for the past four years both home and away and is certain that the partnership can only reap positive rewards. "I am delighted to be able to support a club such as Garforth Town both on and off the pitch, which provides me and my family with such a great deal of enjoyment. It is fantastic to be able to give something back whilst getting exposure for my company." Garforth Town general manager, George Williams, believes that such support from local businesses is essential for lower league clubs to prosper. He said, "It is refreshing to see local people and fans that are so willing to support the club in times of such economic downturn. It is crucial to clubs of Garforth's size that we maintain the support of people such as those at Jonathan S White & Company." |
