To Parents, Guardians and players, It is with great sadness that I write to tell you about the future of Brazilian Soccer Schools Crewe and Nantwich. There are a number of factors that have led to this outcome and I am extremely saddened that it has reached this stage but BSS Crewe and Nantwich will cease to run sessions as of 18th October. There will be sessions running every Monday until and including the 18th October. After this there will be no sessions until which time Brazilian Soccer Schools Head Office have found someone suitable to take it forward. I hope you will try to continue with your BSS training but understand that it has just been made much harder to do so. The nearest Brazilian Soccer Schools to Crewe and Nantwich are Stoke with Carl Robinson 07747867745 or St Helens with Ray Owen 0754-509-2371. Please contact these to see if you are able to make any of their sessions. I believe BSS stoke may run sessions close to Alsager. Many of you have been with me since I started my time in Crewe, some have joined as time went on so may not understand the whole picture. I took on the franchise from its previous owner because I thought I would be able to take it forward and make it successful. I feel that had I not had to return to finish off my university degree things may have been different and I feel we would be a much bigger soccer school. However since returning to University standards dropped and it was only thanks to the coaches I had on board that we were able to keep things running at the low level that we did. Ultimately though I had to look at my situation and decide what was not only the best thing for me but also what the best thing was for the soccer school. I have been looking for people to come on board and help drive forward but have been unsuccessful and have now arrived at the situation where it has been agreed to put everything on hold until the right person can be found. I am aware that last week I spoke of potentially looking to kick it on but after discussions with head office it was felt that this was the best route. I am hopeful that someone will see the potential in the area that I did and look to pick up the reins soon and take it on to be the success that I couldn’t make it. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in Crewe, meeting the people I did and getting the chance to work with all the children I did, many of whom I believe have the right attributes to do well in the game. I am just sorry that I could not achieve all that I wanted to achieve for it. If you would like to ask any questions or discuss it further then please contact me on 07983504871 or email
