9th Annual ICFDS Training Course |
 Brazilian Soccer School coaches from around the world gathered in Leeds for the 9th International Confederation of Futebol de Salão (ICFDS) training course. The coaches, travelling from countries including Nigeria, Malaysia and Australia, took part in sessions led by Simon Clifford covering the syllabus first devised by Clifford in 1997 when he started the first Brazilian soccer School in Leeds, with just five children attending.
It was a great week for everybody involved, made even better by Nell McAndrew's visit to take part in one of the core Brazilian Soccer School sessions.
The coaches were also joined by Dr Thomas Adeleke Olaiya, President of the Nigerian Schools Sports foundation, who was visiting with a view to implementing Brazilian Soccer School sessions in other parts of Nigeria.
