Argentina & Mexico Triumph in the JAN BSS Kids World Cups |
|
 Well two completely different World Cups this month with the U5-U7s being extremely tight and the U7-U9s proving a very one sided affair.
With one week to go it looked like Mexico would win both age groups but a dramitic surge from Argentina in the final week propelled them to the top of the table on goal difference. Which was quite an outstanding achievement as they played 4 games fewer than everyone else.
But this months Mexican U7-U9 side were far to strong for their competition, as the won all 10 of their games scoring 23 and only conceding 2 in the process.

BSS (North Tyneside) - North of England U14s Xmas Cup Winners |
|
 Well Done to the BSS (North Tyneside) U14s Team for Winning the Xmas Cup at the Powerleague in North Shields on Fri 30 Dec.
The All Day Competition was filled with academy players (and scouts from all over the country) and our BSS Santos team played some great football all day, finally beating Red House Farm (on pens) in the Final. |

Brazil Win (DECEMBER) - BSS Kids Sunday World Cups |
|
Both December BSS World Cups went down to the last week but Brazil managed to hold on and win them both. In the (U5-U7) section Brazil & Mexico were neck a neck upto the final game which saw them meet each other with Brazil needing to avoid defeat to win the trophy. And in a pulsating match they managed to just hold on, with a 3-3 draw. And the same 2 countries fought out the (U7-U9) section but Brazil won with a game to spare by beating their main rivals Mexico 2-0 in their penultimate match. |
